LCS sporty on the road

On Saturday, 10.8.24, the Jannersee Triathlon in Lauterach entered its 30th round and for our 17 relay runners it was once again time to

SWIM like the boat sunk
BIKE like you stole it
RUN for your life

The start was in the refreshing Jannersee lake with a 400 m swim, followed by 16 km of cycling and a 4 km run through the Lauteracher Ried to round things off. In contrast to the Ironmännli in June, the weather was excellent and our 6 relay teams were fully motivated. The atmosphere was great. Numerous spectators stood along the course and cheered on the athletes.

Our fastest team finished with a great time of 51:53, which put us in 7th place overall.
After refreshments in the party tent, we were able to regain our strength and after the subsequent after-race party, all our exertions were forgotten.

All in all, this was a great and superbly organised sporting event.
