LCS received major project in Austria

LCS at the Obervermuntwerk II

We are pleased and proud to install a cable crane system at such an important project in our home region! During the construction of the hydro power plant Obervermuntwerk II in Montafon, LCS will supply a cable crane system that guarantees construction during the winter season. The system will overcome a height difference of 600 m and will have of a payload of 20 to and a length of over 2,600 m. A total of seven towers between 15 and 30 m height are required for the construction of the cable crane system.

The system will enable machines and construction material to be transported to the construction site 24/7 even in the winter. This means that the winter closure of the “Silvretta Hochalpenstraße”, a high alpine street, can be bypassed.
