PNG LNG Onshore Pipeline

Cable crane system installed in the middle of the jungle for the construction of a pipeline.

• For the construction of the PNG LNG Onshore Pipeline, which runs through Papua New Guinea, LCS supplied two cable crane system with a payload of 8 to, to transport pipes and various construction material. The two systems were installed over a total length of 1,000 m through the jungle to keep the environmental impact as low as possible. LCS was responsible for the assembling and operation of the systems on site. Furthermore, spider excavators were used to prepare the terrain for the laying of the pipes.
